लोद|रविवार कोशिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा (टीईटी) हुई। परीक्षा दो पालियों में आयोजित की गई थी। कक्षा पहली से पांचवीं तक अध्यापन पात्रता के लिए प्रथम पाली का पेपर सुबह 9.15 से 11.45 तक हुआ। जिसमें जिलेभर से 936 परीक्षार्थी शामिल हुए। वहीं 56 परीक्षार्थी अनुपस्थित रहे। कक्षा छठवीं से आठवीं तक अध्यापन पात्रता के लिए द्वितीय पाली का परीक्षा दोपहर 2.15 से 4.45 बजे तक हुआ। जिसमें 963 परीक्षार्थी उपस्थित एवं 40 अनुपस्थित रहे। परीक्षा के लिए दो केन्द्र बनाए गए थे। आदर्श बालक शासकीय उच्चतर माध्यमिक शाला में सुबह पाली में 282 परीक्षार्थी में 263 उपस्थित एवं 19 अनुपस्थित रहे। दोपहर पाली में 288 में 271 उपस्थित एवं 17 अनुपस्थित रहे। शासकीय कालेज बालोद में सुबह पाली में 673 उपस्थित एवं 37 अनुपस्थित रहे। द्वितीय पाली में 693 उपस्थित एवं 23 अनुपस्थित रहे। परीक्षा में शिक्षा से संबंधित प्रश्नों के अलावा अन्य विषयों पर आधारित प्रश्न पूछे गए थे।

व्यापमंद्वारा आयोजित टीईटी की परीक्षा में आज कुल 8656 परीक्षार्थी शामिल हुए। शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा दो चरणों में हुई। सुबह 9 बजे से 11.45 बजे तक और दूसरी पाली की परीक्षा दोपहर सवा 2 बजे से शाम पौने 5 बजे तक आयोजित की गई। परीक्षा में पूछे गए सवाल आसान होने के कारण परीक्षा देकर निकले परीक्षार्थियों के चेहरे खिले रहे।
शिक्षा कर्मी वर्ग 3 के लिए लिखित परीक्षा सुबह की पाली में हुई जबकि वर्ग एक और दो के लिए दोपहर की पाली में परीक्षा हुई। सुबह की पाली के लिए 9 परीक्षा केंद्र बनाए गए थे जबकि दोपहर की पाली में 10 सेंटर बनाए गए। परीक्षा में बाल विकास, हिंदी, गणित, अंग्रेजी, पर्यावरण सहित अन्य विषयों से संबंधित आसान सवाल पूछे गए।
परीक्षा के लिए साइंस कालेज, जेआरडी स्कूल, बीआईटी, रूंगटा कालेज सहित अन्य स्कूल, कालेजों को सेंटर बनाया गया था। सभी सेंटरों में परीक्षा शांतिपूर्वक हुई। कहीं भी नकल का प्रकरण नहीं पकड़ा गया। परीक्षा केंद्रों से निकलने वाले परीक्षार्थियों ने बताया कि सभी विषयों के प्रश्न एकदम आसान थे। कुल डेढ़ सौ प्रश्न पूछे गए थे। हर प्रश्न के लिए 3 अंक निर्धारित थे।
साइंस कालेज के प्राचार्य एससी तिवारी ने बताया कि प्रथम पाली में 4283 परीक्षार्थियों के लिए व्यवस्था की गई थी। इसमें से 4029 परीक्षार्थी परीक्षा में शामिल हुए। दोपहर की पाली में 4876 परीक्षार्थियों के बैठने की व्यवस्था की गई थी, जिसमें से 4647 परीक्षार्थी शामिल हुए। इस तरह आज परीक्षा में कुल 483 परीक्षार्थी अनुपस्थित रहे।

Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test (CG TET) Examination will be
conducted by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board on August
31, 2014 at several examination centers in the state.
The Chhattisgrah Professional Examination Board, Raipur has uploaded the CG TET Admit Card/Hall Ticket 2014 on its official website i.e. cgvyapam.choice.gov.in/
All questions in CG TET test will be multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. There will be no negative marking. There will be two papers of CG TET.
(i) Paper I will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes I to V.
(ii) Paper II will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
A person who intents to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).
Duration of examination is one-and-a-half hours for each paper.
CGTET Paper I (for classes I to V):
Structure and Content (All Compulsory) :
(i) Child Development and Pedagogy 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(ii) Language I 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iii) Language II 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iv) Mathematics 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(v) Environmental Studies 30 MCQs 30 Marks
Total 150 MCQs 150 Marks
Exam time: 9:15 AM to 11:45 AM (Paper I) and 02:15 P.M to 04:45 P.M.(Paper II)
Candidates having completed Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50 per cent marks or 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education are eligible for taking the test for teacher for classes I to V.
Candidates having a graduation degree and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) degree can apply for teacher for classes VI to VIII.

"The total teachers post lying vacant at the primary level both under the state sector and the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan are 6, 06, 191," human resource development Minister Smriti Irani told the Rajya Sabha in a written reply.
"The states recruits teachers based on their recruitment rules. However, teachers who are appointed have to possess requisite qualification prescribed by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)," she added.
Irani said that the recruitment of teachers on contract basis therefore does not affect the quality of teaching adversely as all teachers recruited have to meet the educational qualification as well as professional qualifications.
"However, professional qualifications are sometimes relaxed under section 23 of the right of children to free and compulsory education (RTE) Act, 2009 for states where there is a shortage of professionally qualified teachers, with the provision that they acquire the same through a two year training programme in distance mode," she said.
Irani also informed that the pupil teacher ratio (PTR) has improved nationally to 1:25 and most states barring Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh have normative PTRs.
